JIC Streaming Data Service
What is JIC Streaming Data Service?
The Streaming Data Service (SDS) is a neutral architecture with consistent governance oversight provided by the Joint Industry Committee to support the streaming video workflow infrastructure of the future.
Service Architecture
SDS is a multi-publisher platform where first-party digital delivery data can be accessed through a Federated Data Clean Room to drive strategic value and investment.
The JIC created SDS to solve key challenges:
The industry requires secure access to cross-platform planning and measurement use cases without streamers having to share data via SDKs, pixels or secure shares.
Measurement companies need to perform ID-level queries across publishers to ultimately produce more accurate cross-platform measurement.
Publishers need secure data sharing capabilities to ensure they retain ownership of their data and control over which queries measurement companies can run.
